Ultra Q Noisy new single “VR sex‘ from their upcoming debut album my guardian angel Released on June 9th via Royal Mountain Records.
The song premiered today (January 31st) on BBC Radio 1 via Jack Saunders.I Watched Them GoIt’s closer to the band’s shitty punk rock roots. When guitars and drums collide in perfect harmony, it’s an energetic headbanger that’s a rush of adrenaline.
Singer Jacob Armstrong said in a press release about the new song: By the end of the writing process, I had no idea what this record would become. Stylistically, it mostly leaned towards shoegaze/dream pop, with a few outliers here and there. If you write this many songs over the years, your tastes will change and you’ll lose interest.”
He continues: He really wanted an emo ripper on the record, but he didn’t think it would fit. After some demos, I decided I really needed to write this song. It deals with the period immediately after a close friend almost died in a car accident. In a way, this event was the catalyst for many of the topics on this album, and writing about it was a very cathartic way to end the album’s process.
