Sylvan Glade is a hidden area in The Sims 4 that is both mysterious and captivating. Unlike many other hidden areas in The Sims 4, it is easily accessible and does not require any particular skills or expansion packs. Despite its ease of accessibility, it remains one of the most stunning locations in The Sims 4 base game, with its picturesque fairytale forest scenery, featuring pink trees, a clear lake, and a mesmerizing waterfall.

Skill cheats allow Sims 4 players to adjust their Skills without spending in-game hours working on them.

As players explore this enigmatic lot, they will come across various collectibles and creatures, making it an ideal location for Sims who enjoy collecting. Sylvan Glade is undeniably beautiful, but it also has an eerie and mysterious vibe. The area is in a perpetual twilight state, giving it an otherworldly feel.

Updated on August 31, 2025, by Ashely Claudino: The Enchanted by Nature expansion pack added the Starseed Teleporter to The Sims 4, making it possible for players to visit hidden lots with barely any hassle at all. Thanks to this teleportation device, it is now easier than ever to get to Sylvan Glade in The Sims 4.

How to Get to Sylvan Glade in The Sims 4

The mystical allure of Sylvan Glade beckons to players, offering a hidden realm of stunning beauty and eerie mystery. Fortunately, accessing this magical location isn’t as complicated compared to others, such as the Forgotten Grotto. Below, players can learn about the various ways to get to Sylvan Glade in The Sims 4:

First Method: Interact With the Sylvan Tree (Base Game)

Located in the lower-cost area of Willow Creek with three starter homes, the entrance to Sylvan Glade in The Sims 4 can be found within a magnificent tree. This hidden location is accessible through various lots in the Foundry Cove neighborhood, with the closest being the Crick Cabana lot. As such, players can head straight to Crick Cabana to make finding the tree even quicker.

The tree itself is a magnificent sight to behold with its unique root and body structure, adorned with vibrant leaves that add to the picturesque scenery. Once at the tree, the Sim needs to interact with the tree several times to gain access to the hidden area.

Initially, players can only choose the “View” interaction, which they need to do multiple times to unlock other interactions. After this interaction, players can choose to “Water” the Tree, and after doing so a few times, even more options will unlock. These interactions include “Compliment on Leaves” and “Chat About Roots,” after which the “Explore” option will be unlocked after a certain number of each interaction

Once Sims choose the “Explore” option, they essentially enter a rabbit hole, which presents some Chance Cards. Players need to choose the correct answers to access Sylvan Glade. While players can certainly go for trial and error, those who want to get it right on the first go should select the following options:

  • Follow the Sound
  • Travel Downstream
  • Enter the Mist
  • Travel to Glade

Second Method: Starseed Teleporter (Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack)

Players with the Enchanted by Nature expansion pack have access to the Starseed Teleporter in Innisgreen, which is the easiest way to get to hidden lots in The Sims 4.

With only 1 Fairy Dust, gamers can teleport to any of the hidden lots in the game simply by interacting with the Starseed Teleporter. There is one right in front of the bridge that leads from Crannamor Residential lot to the Mossveil Fairy Hub. If players want to bring more Sims along, all they have to do is get 2 Fairy Dust instead. Here is a helpful guide on how to get Fairy Dust in The Sims 4.

Third Method: Wellness Skill (Spa Day Game Pack)

If players own the Spa Day game pack, they will have access to the Wellness Skill, which allows them to quickly teleport to Sylvan Glade once they reach Level 7 by meditating, but there’s a catch – they’ve visited it before. This means that players must complete the methods above at least once in order to be able to visit Sylvan Glade.

Sylvan Glade Activities

What Can You Do in Sylvan Glade?

Once players arrive at Sylvan Glade, they will immediately notice the various opportunities to collect items and gather plants such as cherry, bluebell, lily flower, mushrooms, and more. Along with this, there are several spots where players can fish, dig for treasure, and find frog logs.

Although these collectibles are not exclusive to Sylvan Glade, the likelihood of finding rare and unique items is much higher in these hidden areas of the game.

Can You Build in Sylvan Glade?

Players cannot build in Sylvan Glade unless they cheat. To activate the required cheat, gamers must open the cheat console, input the code “testingcheats on” followed by “bb.enablefreebuild“. The freebuild cheat makes it possible for players to access Build Mode in lots that would otherwise be impossible to edit.
