- How Does Emerald Beyond Compare To Scarlet Grace?
SaGa Emerald Beyond is one of the many games within the SaGa franchise, which was made popular by Square Enix. The game features five different protagonist options for players (with one option being about two characters), making it a good-sized game.
The first thing a lot of players wonder before taking on a new game is how long it’ll take to complete it. The truth is, this game can take a vastly different amount of time for each player, depending on what they want to accomplish. Here is a breakdown of how long it will take.
SaGa Emerald Beyond Review
A semi-decent combat system can’t make up for SaGa Emerald Beyond’s inability to capture a player’s attention or help make exploring its worlds fun.
How Long Is SaGa Emerald Beyond?
The length of SaGa Emerald Beyond is up for debate, depending on how many protagonists’ stories players complete and what all they complete during those stories. The game itself is pretty linear; there are not a ton of side quests or anything like that. Instead, the side quests mainly involve directing the character to a specific location on the map, and they will take care of the rest (though some side quests will involve battles or conversations, though these aren’t as prevalent as the other kinds). While this ensures players can easily get a 100% completion rate, it also means that there isn’t much room for exploring and doing additional things beyond the main storyline.
6 Square Enix Franchises With The Most Games
Many of Square Enix’s most popular franchises have been going since the 1990s, but how many games do these series actually contain?
On average, it seems that it takes players between 5–7 hours per protagonist’s story to complete the game. This can definitely change, depending on how difficult players find the battles, how often they change major aspects (like character Roles), and whether or not they decide to complete all the side quests. Since there are six different protagonists (but only five different stories), players have reported that the game takes between 25–35 hours.
How Does Emerald Beyond Compare To Scarlet Grace?
Many players were curious about how SaGa Emerald Beyond compares to SaGa Scarlet Grace, the game that preceded it in the franchise. On average, players said that the game took about 42 hours to complete and almost 90 hours to 100% complete. This means that the game is shorter than its predecessor. However, the game is definitely still worth picking up, especially if you enjoyed the others in the franchise.
5 Square Enix Games With Unique Art Styles
Square Enix is usually consistent in its art styles, but some titles mix it up with truly striking results.
The two games may be pretty different, but Emerald Beyond certainly takes inspiration from Scarlet Grace, and both are excellent examples of the franchise. Plus, since Emerald Beyond is shorter, players will have more time to tackle other games in the series.
