PEAK offers players a cooperative survival experience, but instead of searching for resources and building shelters, you need to climb to the tops of mountains. To help players stand out from one another while they attempt to do this, they can customize their characters.

From the very beginning of the game, you have access to quite a few customization options. However, to unlock them all, you will need to complete some challenges. For those struggling, here’s a look at all the cosmetics in PEAK and how to obtain them.

Updated August 16th, 2025, by Usama Ali: The Mesa update in PEAK brought more than just a new biome and challenges. It also introduced a whole new batch of cosmetics to match the scorching desert theme. From hats and outfits to even new faces, players can customize their climber to look the part while braving the Mesa. This guide covers every cosmetic item added to PEAK with the Mesa update and how to unlock them.

How to Unlock More Cosmetics in PEAK

Upon arrival at the airport, players begin the game with a passport in hand. This item is required so that you can customize your appearance as well as change your clothes. Luckily, PEAK has a wide variety of customization options available from the start. However, while there are many options for appearance, the clothing options are a bit more complicated, as you only have a few hats and clothes available.

So, you will have to play PEAK and earn various Badges. Each of them will reward you with new cosmetics for your character, but you will need to be prepared to spend time unlocking them all.
