Whatever you want to say about Meta and its various company policies (trust me, we’ve said plenty), there is one indisputable fact. Meta has already won the smart glasses race. By partnering with Essilor Luxxotica, the company figured out a way to manufacture smart glasses that everyone wants to wear—even if they do come with a hefty side helping of AI slop.

If you have decided that you simply must have a great-looking face assistant (don’t be ashamed, I did too), you’re in luck. For Black Friday, Meta is discounting the original Ray-Ban Gen 1s, along with a slew of other related discounts.

These are the original Meta glasses that became a smash hit. The new version is $80 more expensive, has a better battery life, and a better camera. But if you mostly use your smart glasses for listening to music, responding to texts, and snapping off quick pics of things you need to remember, the original Wayfarers will do right by you. The OG Meta Ray-Ban Wayfarers are now $239, or $58 off. Prescription lenses for the new Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) and Oakley Meta HSTN glasses are now 20 percent off.

To trigger the Oakley Meta Vanguard’s (8/10, WIRED Recommends) autocapture feature, you need to wear a compatible Garmin smartwatch. That’s why you can buy select Garmin watches on sale through Meta.com. You can get $250 off the Garmin Fenix 8 47 mm, $200 off the Garmin Venu X1, or $100 off the Garmin Forerunner 970, which is our favorite running sport watch. If you buy one of those together with an Oakley Meta Vanguard, you receive $50 credit that can be used on any future device on Meta.com. Meta will email you the $50 credit in February 2026.

Finally, you can get $50 off what we call the best VR headset for n00bs and 40 percent off titles on the Meta store with the code BFCM25. The code is reusable, so you can get as many games as you want for the long holiday weekend.
