One Piece is incredibly exciting at the moment, with Oda revealing some massive mysteries about the Void Century in the Final Saga. With Egghead, Oda already gave the fans a sneak peek into the past from 800 years ago, along with revealing some very powerful characters from that era.
With Elbaf, Oda has done that yet again, and now, fans know more than ever before about the legendary characters of the time. From Joy Boy to Emeth, the legendary characters of the Void Century shaped the world of One Piece in one way or another, and Oda has revealed quite a few of them by now.
Toki
The User of the Toki Toki no Mi
Toki was an essential character who led to the events of the Wano arc. She is actually from the Void Century, but she possessed the Toki Toki no Mi, or the Time Time Fruit, and was able to travel more than 800 years into the future. Toki knows the truth of the Void Century, but sadly, she was executed shortly after Oden.
Emeth
The Iron Giant
Emeth, also known as the Iron Giant, was an important figure who showed up during the Egghead Island arc. This robot was created in the Void Century and was one of Joy Boy’s companions who had remained dormant for centuries.
Emeth finally awoke on Egghead and was able to unleash the ancient Conqueror’s Haki he inherited from Joy Boy.
Galleila Company
Ancient Shipwrights from Elbaf
Recently, in the Elbaf arc, fans learned about the Galleila Company. This company was made up of giants from Elbaf, but not from any era. They are from the Void Century.
Not much is known about this group or how exactly they froze, but it’s very possible they are the same group of giants frozen on Punk Hazard.
Nefertari D. Lily
The Queen of Arabasta
Nefertari Lily is a character whose reveal shook the One Piece fandom. Lily was the Queen of Arabasta during the time of the Void Century, but went missing one day, never to be seen again.
Lily’s involvement against Imu all the way back in the Void Century is one of the biggest mysteries of the One Piece world and probably what led to her disappearance.
Zunesha
A Gigantic Elephant
Zunesha is one of the most incredible creatures Oda introduced to the One Piece world. Zunesha is a ginormous elephant walking the One Piece seas, and on its back, the Mink tribe resides.
Zunesha is actually from the Void Century and holds the island of Zou on its back. It is commanded to forever walk the seas as punishment for an unknown crime it committed long ago.
Davy Jones
The Pirate of the Deep Sea
Fans were quite surprised to see recently how important the name Davy Jones would become. After all, this name was first mentioned during the Long Ring Long Land arc, a part of the story that many fans consider less relevant.
Now, fans have learned that Davy Jones is from the Void Century and that he is idolized by none other than Rocks D. Xebec, one of the most legendary pirates of the last era.
Poseidon
The Mermaid Princess
Poseidon is quite an important figure in the One Piece world. She is one of the Three Ancient Weapons, one who can control the Sea Kings of the One Piece seas.
Poseidon is always reincarnated as a mermaid princess. The identity of the previous princess from the Void Century is still unknown, but in the current timeline, it’s Shirahoshi.
Joy Boy
The Second Nika
Joy Boy’s name was first mentioned during Fishman Island and remained a mystery for a big chunk of the series.
However, in the Final Saga, fans learned more about the Nika of the Void Century. During Egghead, fans saw a glimpse of his powerful Haki, strong enough to knock back the Five Elders to Marijoa.
Imu
The Secret Sovereign of the World
Imu is an ancient figure, also from the Void Century. Saint Imu Nerona is the head of the World Government and the secret sovereign of the One Piece world.
A lot remains unknown about Imu, but their involvement in the events of the Void Century is undeniable. Imu took down the previous user of the Nika fruit, Joy Boy, and he plans to take down the next user, Luffy, at the present time.
