Update (11/23/22) – Striking Distance Studios CEO Glen A. Schofield confirmed on Twitter that the team “has not withheld anything from the Season Pass main game.” This means there are no locked death animations behind the main story season pass.

Callisto Protocol was so mercilessly bloody that it failed to pass the Japanese rating agency, so the Japanese version of the game was canceled altogether.

Continuing the theme, the developers also included achievements to see all the death animations in the game, but this probably doesn’t include the 13 animations behind the season pass.
