Battery life sucks compared to my last phone which I used heavily for 2 years. I have only had the s22 ultra for his 2 days and even with battery saver on it still drains much faster than my previous phone. There’s no reason for the battery to drain so quickly, especially when the screen is off. Update 6 (January 19, 2023)
5:27 PM (IST): One of the reasons why the Galaxy S22 Ultra (and other 2022 flagships) are less energy efficient is related to the Samsung chipset factory.
The Galaxy S22 series uses the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset (depending on region). Both chips are manufactured by Samsung on a 4nm process. unfortunately inefficient.
