Samsung Galaxy A535G
For under $ 450, it’s hard to discuss the value of the Galaxy A535G. It may not be as fast as the Galaxy S21FE or have the power of a camera, but what it lacks in savage strength is compensated for by battery life. In addition, the internal Exynos 1280 is fast enough to meet the everyday needs of games and most people.
- Excellent price
- Much faster than the A52
- 120Hz AMOLED display
- Double battery life
- IP67 waterproof and dustproof
- No Wi-Fi 6
- Not for intense games
Samsung Galaxy S21FE
Be late for the party
The Galaxy S21 FE is the best version of the Galaxy S21 line due to its value proposition. It has the same great display and processor from Samsung’s more expensive Galaxy S21 line, but with a slightly different package and a worse tactile sensation. Its biggest drawback is that the Galaxy S22 was launched shortly thereafter, which is only $ 100 more.
- The processor is twice as powerful
- Even better 120Hz AMOLED display
- High quality camera
- IP68 water resistance and dust resistance
- Poor battery life
- Relatively expensive

Samsung Galaxy A53 vs S21FE: Design and Display
both Galaxy A53 5G (Opens in a new tab) When Galaxy S21 FE (Opens in a new tab) Definitely a modern Samsung device. The large camera hump on the back is gradually brought about by the curved sides, and the vertical orientation of the camera sensor is very similar between the two devices. However, the Galaxy S21 FE is more closely compliant with the style of the Galaxy S21 or S22, making it more consistent with these premium phones.
Both phones feature a polycarbonate bag with a powder matte finish. Modern polycarbonate phones don’t feel like the old shiny greasy plastic used by many phone makers, including Samsung. The sides of the Galaxy S21 Fe are matte metal, but the Galaxy A535G has a glossy trim instead. Both Harish and I tend to be drawn to the matte edges, as pointed out in their respective reviews of these phones.
What we disagree with is the flat side of the Galaxy A535G. Personally, I like the more sturdy and flat surface of the Galaxy A53 5G, but the Galaxy S21FE is a bit more rounded.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A535G with a slightly larger display (6.5 inches compared to the 6.4-inch display on the Galaxy S21 FE), but both phones have a refresh rate of 120Hz. And because they both use Samsung’s AMOLED display technology, you can expect gorgeous colors, perfect black levels, and the best image quality on any phone.
Samsung Galaxy A53 vs S21FE: Performance and Battery Life
There is a real difference in this category. At double the price ($ 700 for the Galaxy S21 FE and $ 350 for the Galaxy A53 5G at the time of writing), choosing the Galaxy S21 FE gives you double the performance. The S21FE has exactly the same Snapdragon 888 chipset as the more expensive Galaxy S21, and the Galaxy A535G is on Samsung’s own Exynos 1280. This is a chip built to be more efficient than anything else.

This significant performance degradation makes the biggest difference between the most satisfying power users and mobile gamers of the faster mobile phones, the Galaxy S21FE. Also, thanks to the additional horsepower, the Galaxy S21 FE always achieves a stable 120Hz, but the Galaxy A53 5G’s low-power chipset has a lot going on in games and screens that use intense graphics. ..
But all that extra horsepower may not be important to you, especially if battery life is paramount. The Exynos 1280 in the Galaxy A535G is an energy efficient chipset because it doesn’t run faster than the Snapdragon 888. What’s more, the Galaxy A53 5G has a battery that’s almost 10% larger than the Galaxy S21 FE.
At the end of the day, the Galaxy S21FE needs to be charged to use the phone again the next day. Power users may need to replenish a little before that, especially on busy days. The Galaxy A53 5G, on the other hand, will allow you to go through the day without any problems, and many users will be able to go through the second day (or at least partly the second day) before they need a top. You will notice. Up.
Samsung Galaxy A53 vs S21FE: Camera and Video
This is the area where the spec sheet does not show the big picture. On paper, the Galaxy A535G is probably more impressive. The 64MP main camera sensor has a much higher resolution than the 12MP sensor on the Galaxy S21 FE, and there is also a fourth dedicated macro camera that is attractive for certain types of close-up photos and videos.
However, the numbers don’t make much sense, especially for cameras. The Galaxy A53 5G can take some of the best photos in its price range, but the Galaxy S21 FE easily outperforms its quality in all situations. Part of this is due to the sensor itself. The Galaxy S21 FE’s camera has a low resolution, but it makes up for the difference by having physically large pixels. This allows more light to enter the sensor. Comparing large and small windows in a house, all kinds of light are less noisy and give more detailed pictures.
The Galaxy S21 FE also has a much more powerful processor (about twice as fast as the Galaxy A53 5G’s processor) used for smoothing computational photos and video recordings. When taking pictures, the Galaxy S21 FE can generate images with a wider dynamic range and often capture moving objects more clearly.
The Galaxy S21 FE also has a 3X telephoto lens to keep things clear when zooming in. This is the same level of zoom detail found on all Galaxy S models. The Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Ultra are exceptions here. Whenever you need to digitally scale your frame, it helps add value to your phone.
Samsung Galaxy A53 vs S21FE: Which Should I Buy?
Both Samsung Galaxy A53 and Galaxy S21FE offer “value phone” suggestions, but in reality only one feels like a really amazing value. For $ 350, the Samsung Galaxy A535G is a phone worth defeating. Pack a powerful enough processor and a huge battery into an attractive shell, all without sacrificing arms and legs.
Technically, the Galaxy S21 FE is a great phone for almost every measurement, but it’s so expensive that it’s hard to recommend. Especially if the Galaxy S22 is only $ 100 more expensive and can be purchased at a lower price from mobile carriers such as Samsung and Verizon. T-Mobile, or AT & T. Even if you’re looking for a more powerful phone, there are better options at retail prices than the Galaxy S21FE.
That’s why I love the Galaxy A535G. It’s a great price, it looks and feels great, and it’s easy to use for a day (or two days) without having to rethink it.

Samsung Galaxy S21FE
The Galaxy S21 FE is Samsung’s most valuable phone sequel in years, but not much cheaper than the fairly powerful Galaxy S22.
