It’s been a tumultuous year for Apple. Not only did I get new iPhones and iPads, Apple TV and AirPods Pro updates, new standalone displays, and tons of software features, but I also got my first brand-new Mac and Apple Watch in years. But among all these new products, Apple killed some older devices in his 2022 as well. Here are five of his Apple devices that are no longer sold on Apple.com.
apple watch series 3

If there was one product that will reach retirement age in 2022, it was the Apple Watch Series 3. Five-year anniversary with aging design, pokey chip and single sensor was half overpriced. of $199 MSRP. Unfortunately, its demise means there are no more Apple Watches starting at $200 or less, but the $249 Apple Watch SE 2 is a bargain anyway.
iPhone11

Losing the oldest iPhone model to make way for a newer model at the top of the lineup is nothing new, but the iPhone 11 discontinuation is notable. The SE iPhone line (iPhone 12, 13, and 14) all have the same design, and Apple isn’t selling an iPhone without 5G support. Rumor has it that the iPhone 11 design will be repurposed for the upcoming iPhone SE, but for now, shed one for the rounded edges.
Apple TV HD

The Apple TV HD was great in 2015, but it’s been a terrible buy for years. At just $20 less than the Apple TV 4K, it was the worst kind of budget device. It was slower and inferior in all respects, but it looked just like the better model. Apple will completely shuffle the Apple TV lineup in 2022, pushing out the Apple TV HD entirely.
iPod touch

We really wanted the iPod touch back, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. Instead of a redesigned model with a full-screen design, A12 processor and headphone jack, Apple The last remaining iPod to be discontinued There was little fanfare this year other than the promise that the music player would live on with Apple. That may be true, but he has nothing in Apple’s lineup to match the iPod touch. It’s a cheap device that does everything an iPhone can do except make phone calls. An iPod touch is a better fit.
27-inch iMac

apple
When Apple launched the 27-inch Studio Display alongside the Mac Studio in March, it meant two things. The Mac fan can finally buy an affordable standalone display from his Apple again, and no longer need the 27-inch iMac. Apple immediately removed it from the store. Gone as soon as the event ended.was there persistent rumors Apple may bring back the big-screen iMac, but 24 inches is the size you can get right now.we like M1 iMacbut I would like a larger version.
