Most iOS updates only improve your iPhone experience, but some cause more havoc than good. If an update unexpectedly breaks or degrades certain features of your iPhone, you may be able to revert to the previous software.

This is because RSR updates were developed carelessly and submitted as a quick fix for a serious problem. These can be further tweaked before they appear in the next iOS 16.X minor update, but if you’re having trouble before then you can remove the RSR.
Uninstalling Rapid Security Response
