Yoshikazu Iwanami, the sound director working on Steel Ball Run, shared an update on their X (formerly Twitter) account about the anime. In the post, he confirmed the sound production for the first episode of Steel Ball Run was complete. He also said that the concept behind the soundtrack was ‘Dance with Steel Ball Run.’ In the same post, Yoshikazu Iwanami joked about wanting to get an Emmy for Best Sound.
Steel Ball Run anime does not have a release date yet, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. They want the anime as early as possible, but it’s unlikely to happen. The studio wants to be thorough in its approach so that viewers can enjoy a high-quality adaptation. Given the fact that David Production only announced the anime a few months ago, it’s likely that the Steel Ball Run anime won’t release until 2027.
JoJo fans should mark their calendars for September 26 because that’s when new hi be shared. It’s likely that the studio will share a new trailer for the anime to give fans an idea of what to expect. So far, David Production has done a phenomenal job with all the parts.
Netflix Needs To Alter Its Strategy
Fans will be hoping that Netflix takes a different approach than what it did with Stone Ocean. The anime was split into several cours, which led to the episodes being released in batches. This resulted in a severe backlash from fans, as they preferred a weekly release. They had to wait for months for new episodes, which was frustrating. Additionally, it led to a decline in fans’ interest. Hopefully, Netflix will change its strategy and revert to a weekly release.
