Island Getaway is a free DLC for inZOI, which introduces the islands of Cahaya as a new place to live or visit on holiday. For those who elect to live on Cahaya’s main island, there are two options for making money. One option is to live off the land by farming, mining, crafting, and fishing. Food can be sold at a local store. This is completely viable and could earn players a lot of Meow, but it is a lot more hands-on.
Alternatively, zois can start normal careers, working a set number of days a week in shifts. At the launch of Island Getaway, there are 9 career options on Cahaya, with some of these being unique to the islands. They are all full-time, with no part-time jobs like there are in inZOI’s other cities. All careers on Cahaya are currently rabbit hole jobs, meaning zois go to work without the player controlling or seeing them.
Sawara Law Firm
A Fairly Boring Job, But Well Paid
- Junior Lawyer: M 450
- Senior Lawyer: M 1,164
- Partner Lawyer: M 2,040
Working as a lawyer might not be the best way to make the most of living on a luxury island, but it is the best-paying job unless zois become a full boss in the criminal career. Thankfully, if zois need to relax after long hours working as a lawyer, then they can visit the spa on the resort island. Here they can receive massages and enter sauna rooms.
Red Bone Tissue (Criminal Gang)
The Boss Is The Best Paid Job In Cahaya
- Rookie: M 360
- Underboss: M 666
- Boss: M 2,169
For zois who want to get their hands dirty and live a life of crime, they can join the oddly named Red Bone Tissue gang in Cahaya. The pay isn’t bad at all, and if zois are able to earn a promotion to the top, the boss is the best paid position in the DLC. The entry-level pay is also the second-best on the island.
Harihari Travel Agency
The Perfect Job For A Holiday Island
- Tour Guide Trainee: M 300
- Formal Guide: M 600
- Professional Guide: M 1,100
Working for a travel agency and doing tour guides makes perfect sense when living at a holiday retreat location, and would be a core industry. The pay is steady for guides, and if zois love walking round in the sun, sightseeing, and talking, then it should hopefully be a fun and stress-free job for them.
Sea Turtle Conservation
The Most Rewarding Job
- Nestwatcher: M 280
- Hatching Support Volunteer: M 560
- Marine Ecology Guardian: M 1,000
If players explore the two islands of Cahaya, they will find sea turtles on the beach and in the sea when snorkeling, too. It’s also possible to get a highly rewarding job helping to preserve these creatures. While the pay isn’t great at first, the work is totally worth it. It is also a job that makes the most of the tropical island.
Natap Encyclopedia Association
The Worst Paying Job In Cahaya
- Investigator: M 110
- Principle Researcher: M 350
- Memorabilia Association Manager: M 600
Working as an investigator for the Natap Encyclopedia Association is the worst-paying job in Cahaya, and getting promoted to a researcher or manager doesn’t improve the income too much either. However, this might be the right fit for certain zois with inquisitive minds who love reading and writing. Living on the edge with less money can also make for more engaging gameplay, where zois might have their water turned off after failing to pay bills.
Jallan Network (Taxi Driver)
Drive On The Roads & The Sea
- Rookie Driver: M 270
- Reliable Taxi Driver: M 540
- Premium Taxi Driver: M 950
Working as a taxi driver in Cahaya is not just about driving on the roads, but also across the sea that connects the two main islands. This is also how the fast travel works in the Island Getaway DLC. The money for this job is okay, but as a rabbit hole job, players unfortunately don’t get to do the driving themselves.
Napas Yoga
The Dream Job For Certain Zois
- Lotus Space Assistant: M 260
- Meditation Leader: M 520
- Chahara Yoga Philosophy Researcher: M 900
Alongside a spa at the resort, a job leading yoga and meditation classes seems perfect for certain zois living in Cahaya. This is easily the most stress-free job, although it doesn’t pay that well. Around the island, players will find places to meditate and practice yoga, which their zoi should be an expert at.
Field Work Assistant
Work Every Day, But Low Hours
Alongside the similar mining job, farmers work 7 days a week, but only for a few hours in the morning. This can be seen as a good thing for players who prefer their zois to have a structured day. However, for such measly wages, it’s arguably better to farm by hand and sell produce at the store, although this naturally requires more effort from the player. Severe floods can also negatively impact agriculture. This is one of the many ways to make money in inZOI outside of a traditional job.
Mining Union
Not Exactly The Best Job On A Tropical Island
Being a miner on a tropical island doesn’t exactly sound like the best career, but the job offers consistently short hours each day. If players want to earn more money, however, they should craft a pickaxe at home and try to discover gems to be sold by mining in their own time. Compared with farming the land, mining has fewer risks as floods can’t wash away rocks. Mining and crafting are some of the new things players can do in the Island Getaway DLC for inZOI.
