Each update is divided into two phases, with each phase featuring limited banners that typically last around three weeks. Honkai: Star Rail Update 2.5 Might Be Shorter Than Usual
The possibility that Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 could be shorter suggests that one of the subsequent updates will likely last longer to return to the usual schedule. Many fans suspect that updates 2.6 or 2.7 could be packed with significant events and character releases. Recent Honkai: Star Rail leaks have indicated that the long-awaited character Sunday might finally appear on a banner in update 2.6.
Leaks have also hinted that a popular four-star character, Tingyun, might receive a new form in Honkai: Star Rail. The new version of Tingyun is expected to be a completely separate character, similar to how Honkai introduced Imbibitor Lunae as the awakened form of Dan Heng. Tingyun’s new form is rumored to have a five-star rarity and follows the Path of Nihility.
Regarding new roster additions for update 2.5, Feixiao is expected to arrive in the first banner cycle alongside the new four-star character Moze. Feixiao has been introduced as one of the most powerful characters in Honkai: Star Rail, and she is expected to be in the main spotlight during Version 2.5. Feixiao is also rumored to fill the role of the main DPS in most team compositions.
