Genshin Impact has launched its pre-registration event for Version 6.0, coupled with a new redemption code, allowing players to obtain 160 Primogems for free ahead of Nod-Krai. In the wake of its livestream for Version 6.0, Genshin Impact has drummed up excitement with a set of surprising announcements: raising the level cap to 100, giving players a way to obtain Constellations for free, and revealing the Miliastra Wonderland.
In terms of its gacha, Version 6.0 has three key highlights: the stacked Event Banners, the Sumeru Chronicled Banner, and the Anniversary Selector. Much like in Natlan, players will be able to select one 5-Star from the Standard Banner to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Genshin Impact. This will also include Yumemizuki Mizuki, the 5-Star Anemo Catalyst introduced in Version 5.4. As for the Event Banners, the Nod-Krai era will kick off with Lauma and Nahida in the first half, while the second half of Version 6.0 will feature Flins and Yelan.
Genshin Impact: Redemption Codes for Version 6.0
As part of its marketing campaign for Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact players can pre-register for Version 6.0 to receive 40 Primogems now, and 60 Primogems on September 10, 2025. Additionally, they can redeem a new promotional code for 60 Primogems, for a total of 160 Primogems. Those who haven’t used the three codes from the Special Program Announcement can also redeem them by September 1, 2025. Thankfully, Genshin Impact will be generous with Primogems in Version 6.0, as many calculations estimate that free-to-play accounts will be able to earn 120 Intertwined Wishes.
While most aspects of Version 6.0 were positively received by the community, some Genshin Impact fans worry about the new level cap, as well as its immediate implications. Genshin Impact characters who scale with hit points or who focus on transformative reactions stand to benefit the most, such as Neuvilette, Alhaitham, Furina, and Nahida. In order to reach Level 100 on a single character, players must obtain three Masterless Stella Fortunas – a consumable awarded for every 5-Star obtained after reaching their C6.
As such, players should temper their expectations of the new level cap, and only consider it as an optional way to increase character power. Version 6.0 will also grant 1600 Primogems via mail, as well as 10 Intertwined Wishes through a login event. While this should help fans stock up on Primogems for their favorite characters, Nod-Krai in Genshin Impact is expected to have a stacked cast in its first half: Nefer, Durin, Columbina, and Varka are all rumored to debut before Version 6.5. The new region opens its doors to the Traveler and Paimon on September 10, 2025.
