Earthquake Support Center moves to Riodel
The Small Business Administration has opened a new Disaster Loan Outreach Center to help Humboldt County residents and businesses recover from the earthquake that began on December 20, 2022.
As of Tuesday morning, the center has approved 91 disaster recovery loans totaling $3,983,100. 7 of them totaled $349,100 and 84 mortgages totaled $3,634,000.
Fortuna’s Rohner Park center has moved to the Rio Dell Community Resource Center. February 10th is the last day for the Disaster Relief Center to provide assistance.
“SBA has opened the center to provide personalized assistance to California businesses and residents affected by the December 20, 2022 earthquake and continuing aftershocks,” said U.S. Small Business. The deadline to apply for a disaster loan for property damage to your home or business is March 6th. The application deadline for businesses to apply for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan is Oct. 4.
