Using Astrophoto mode in Samsung’s Expert RAW Camera app is very easy. Follow these simple steps to start capturing night skies.

  • Once your phone is set up on a tripod, launch the Expert RAW camera app and locate the button to enable astrophotography mode. It’s in the upper right corner of the display.
  • Selecting this button opens a menu overlay with options to enable Sky Guide and adjust the duration of the shot.

  • The Expert RAW camera app is all manual controls, but enabling astrophotography mode disables the options to adjust both ISO and speed. I can do it.
