Withings makes some of our favorite fitness tech, from smart scales to fitness trackers. The company is known for its gorgeous, understated hardware (I’m wearing a ScanWatch 2 right now!) and simple, easy-to-use app that incorporates every device in its ever-expanding portfolio. Last night, the company launched its latest fitness device, the Body Scan 2.

Withings bills this, not as a smart scale like the previous Body Scan, but as a longevity station that checks for over 60 biomarkers when you get out of the tub in the morning. Among some of the latest biomarkers are a hypertension risk notification, cardiac pumping efficiency via Impedance Cardiography, Ultra-high-frequency Bioimpedance Spectroscopy (BIS) to measure metabolic markers, and a new AI model to check for impeding signs of diabetes.

To use, you simply stand on the 8 ITO-embedded electrodes on the plate and hold the handle, which has 4 stainless steel electrodes embedded in it. It wasn’t working last night at Unveiled because the Wi-Fi was so fuzzy, so I’m not entirely clear as to why this fellow has his shoes off, but thank you for that anyway, sir! It’s currently pending FDA clearance but will be available for $600 in Q2 2026 from Withings, Amazon, and other large retailers. It joins other Withings devices, like the BPM Vision, to give you a holistic view of your, er, health. I’m going to check it out when it, you know, actually turns on later in the show.
