Power-Ups are essential to the cycle of Call of Duty Zombies, and they provide players with fun bonuses that can enhance their chances at survival. Power-Ups in COD Zombies are acquired through a few different ways, whether that’s a 3% chance of killing a zombie, completing a secret easter egg, or defeating a mini-boss enemy.

22 Best Co-Op Zombie Games
The best co-op zombie games are the ones where players can enjoy hacking and slashing zombies together. Just make sure to be out of biting distance.
With different ways to get Power-Ups in Call of Duty Zombies, it’s in the best interest of the players to know every Power-Up and what they do so players know whether it’s worth picking it up, or if it’s worth just leaving it to expire.
7 Carpenter
Rebuilds All Barriers and Grants 200 Points
Carpenter is notable for a glowing golden hammer, and it’s something that doesn’t fill the hearts of Zombies players with much joy. Carpenter is fine for a free extra 200 points in early rounds, but delaying Zombies just a tad since they have to re-break barriers isn’t all that useful when there are spawn points for them that aren’t just through barriers.
Carpenter halts progress just a smidge and doesn’t do all that much, and in late rounds, nobody is really fussed about a measly 200 points, so it’s best left abandoned to not halt progress. However, Carpenter is better in Black Ops 4 and Black Ops Cold War since it will refill Shields and Armor.
6 Fire Sale
All Mystery Boxes Spawn on the Map and Cost 10 Points
A Fire Sale is a grand time for every player on the map due to the fact that a Mystery Box will spawn at every available Mystery Box location. Not only does this provide players with an easy way to spin the Box and obtain the weapons they want regardless of where they are, but it also comes at an absurd discount, since it’s only 10 points instead of 950.
Early games can greatly benefit from a Fire Sale, as those seeking the Wonder Weapon or the special grenades will have an easier and cheaper time to do so. However, on later rounds when everyone is set up to hit those high rounds, a Fire Sale doesn’t serve much use.
5 Death Machine
Unlimited Ammo Minigun For 30 Seconds
The Death Machine has its name for a reason, and this Power-Up will provide the player with a temporary weapon that has infinite ammo, no cooldown, and seemingly incredible damage no matter the round players are currently on, which greatly benefits those still in search of those catchy Perks.
The Death Machine can easily wipe out zombie hordes, mini-bosses, and boss fights with ease, and if players do not want to use it due to the fact that it slows players down and they cannot revive with it equipped, then they simply have to swap out to another weapon or wait the 30 seconds to expire.
4 Double Points
Earn Double Points For Killing Zombies and Building Barriers
Double Points is perhaps the best Power-Up to find on early rounds when zombies are still easily killable with just a knife, due to the fact that instead of 130 points they will see 260 points. The more points earned in the early rounds, the more chances of survival in the end game due to the fact that players can have all their Perk-a-Colas and Pack-a-Punch weapons quicker than normal.
Effectively doubling the success of players, Double Points amasses an incredible wallet for players to spend on opening the map and splashing cash at the Mystery Box. However, on later rounds when points are no longer needed for anything other than ammo, Double Points isn’t entirely useful.
3 Insta-Kill
Zombies Will Die In One Hit
Insta-Kill is useful on every round that it appears on due to the fact it reduces the health of every zombie to 1HP, allowing them to die in one hit. This means that throwing a grenade at them, or even stabbing them regardless of the round, will see them instantly die, and players will receive the normal amount of points as if they have killed them through normal means.
Insta-Kill is always something to seek out, as players on Round 100 and above will greatly benefit from being able to mow down hordes of undead with just a single bullet. Insta-Kill has always been a joy to obtain for easy kills, and that’s further increased with Black Ops Cold War which increases the damage dealt to Elite enemies and mini-bosses.
2 Nuke
Kills All Spawned Zombies and Grants 400 Points
When a Nuke spawns in, players can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that all zombies currently on the map will be killed. Those further from the Power-Up will die, but at a slightly slower rate than those closer to it. The Nuke is incredible in high rounds when players just want to progress through without wasting ammo or time.
Yet, the Nuke is also an early-round destroyer, if a player accidentally grabs the Nuke while there are still zombies, then they are missing out on points from the zombies killed and instead trading it for a measly 400 points that doesn’t benefit their desire for currency unless it’s at the end of the round.
1 Max Ammo
Refills Ammunition in Every Weapon and All Grenades
The euphoric relief when finding a Max Ammo is like no other, as this is a Power-Up that comes in handy on every round, except perhaps round 1. Max Ammo will give players all of their weapons reserve ammo back, and in Black Ops 4 and beyond, it fills up the magazine of the weapon too, unless the player is in the downed state.
Max Ammo is a true delight for those who don’t want to get rid of their precious loot in high rounds, as those without a wall-buy weapon like the Ray Gun or another wonder weapon will greatly desire to see ammo returned to keep their surviving momentum up in those high rounds.
