Best KC17 Build in Delta Force

The KC17 is a hard-hitting assault rifle in Delta Force that has a little something different to offer than the existing weapons. While it is as versatile as many other weapons in the game, it has one clear strength that sets it apart from the rest.

The following guide is a KC17 build for Delta Force that’s designed for medium-range fights, which are very common in Warfare mode. Despite that, the build should still work decently well even in the longer and closer-ranged firefights players tend to see in Operations mode.

The KC17 is basically the K416 but for longer-ranged gunfights. They share a similar recoil pattern, and while the KC17 doesn’t kill as fast as the K416, it does have a far greater effective range. The KC17 can kill enemy players in Warfare mode with three shots to the chest at 40 meters, which is something that not a lot of weapons can do (especially not ones that Support players have access to).

It’s unclear if this is intended or if there’s some sort of mistake in the weapon’s stats, as the KC17 should only have an effective range of 29 meters as per the Loadout screen. However, the weapon takes a minimum of five body hits to score a kill even against targets closer than 40 meters, making it similar to many other weapons in Delta Force Warfare mode.

Regardless, this build focuses on making the KC17 as stable as possible so players can take advantage of its five-hit-kill power. To do that, we’ll be decreasing the KC17’s horizontal as much as possible, as it’s much harder to control horizontal recoil compared to vertical recoil. The build also uses the Cardinal Stable Stock for its bonus to Firing Stability, which reduces screen shake when firing.

KC17 vs KC437 vs K416

Delta Force K416 CQB Build

Despite requiring five bullets to take a player down, the KC17 still has a 0.3s close-range TTK in Warfare mode, making it very competitive with the K416 and K437 in Delta Force. However, since both of these guns fire faster while having the same five-hit bullet-to-kill requirement, they will still kill faster than the KC17.

With that being said, the KC17 can be built for a high handling, but this isn’t recommended as the weapon’s recoil is quite harsh. For players who want to get a bit more value from this weapon at closer ranges, we recommend making the following changes:

  • Swap the AR MOE Grip for the Invasion Rear Grip
  • Swap the Cardinal Stable Stock for the Elite Light Stock

These will improve your handling and ADS movement speed by a small amount, giving you a slightly better chance at winning against opponents with proper CQB weapons without harming your weapon control and stability too much.
