A new piece of Battlefield 6 advice could help the game feel more like previous games in the series to some players. There’s one specific detail that could make Battlefield 6 feel a bit odd to some players, but there’s actually a really simple fix.
The Battlefield 6 open beta is ongoing until August 17, after which players will have to wait almost two months to get their hands on the full game. In the meantime, fans are not being shy about their criticism of Battlefield 6, much of which is being leveled at the small map sizes. While not every bit of feedback can be addressed between now and launch, it’s still helpful for Battlefield Studios to have a better understanding of the community consensus on specific aspects of the game.
You Should Probably Double Your Battlefield 6 Sensitivity
As spotted by TheGamer, Battlefield 6 principal game designer Florian Le Bihan has noted that those who have set their in-game sensitivity settings based on previous Battlefield games won’t quite have the same experience. Luckily, it’s an easy fix. According to Le Bihan, players in the Battlefield 6 open beta can simply multiply their sensitivity from previous games by two to get the same result. So, “if you previously had the slider set to 5%, set it to 10% instead.”
This Battlefield 6 settings change “is for mouse aiming specifically,” and Le Han claims he’ll “have to check for controller.” He also notes that the Uniform Soldier Aiming is turned on by default with a specific coefficient, so series veterans may have to tune this further to get a result closer to what they may have experienced in earlier titles.
Considering the Battlefield 6 open beta is almost over, fans of the series may have to look elsewhere to get their fix in the meantime. This has already begun, with Battlefield 4 experiencing a big player count boost as fans seek out that unique Battlefield experience. The hype for Battlefield 6 continues to grow, and there’s a lot on the line for the franchise following the mixed reception to Battlefield 2042 back in 2021.
