Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the biggest Shonen series the world has seen in recent years. The series has won over many fans with its story, battle, and characters. While the series has ended, Gege Akutami has planned something special for the fans, and it’s going to be revealed this very month, on August 22.
Jujutsu Kaisen Ended Last Year, And New Content Has Been Scarce Since Then
Jujutsu Kaisen was, for quite a while, one of Shonen Jump’s biggest series, even surpassing One Piece in sales for some years. This is quite impressive, and has only been done by a few series previously, like Demon Slayer, or Nana.
Jujustu Kaisen was, however, short-lived. The manga of this series concluded last year, in late 2024. This was a huge letdown for many fans who believed the story still had a lot to uncover and explore.
Nevertheless, since then, content related to the series has been quite scarce. But, of course, every once in a while, Gege Akutami, the creator, drops something new. Gege actually has a surprise for fans coming up in a few weeks.

The Hidden Inventory arc has been quite central to animated Jujutsu Kaisen content recently, especially with the compilation movie having come out not too long ago. And now, this arc is getting a Stage Play, which is exciting for many fans.
Gege Akutami also has something planned for all fans, and it will be revealed soon. On August 22, 2025, Gege will reveal a brand new illustration for the popular duo of Gojo and Geto. This is all on the occasion of the new Stage Play. Fans are excited to see just what this man has in store, especially as Gege recently drew new illustrations for Oda’s One Piece, and they were stunning. Gege’s art and colorings really shine when given the time, and fans have a chance to see their beloved Gojo and Geto in new art soon.
