Echo Zelda Boss Walkthrough
Confront Your Impostor In The Stilled World
There are three things to be aware of in the Echo Zelda fight Echoes of Wisdom players must undertake towards the end of the game.
- The Echo Zelda boss will regularly summon strong Echoes to its aid, including Darknut lvl 3 and Buzz Blobs which can’t be hit with normal attacks
- Echo Zelda floats above the arena for almost the entire boss fight
- The Echo Zelda boss will periodically transform into a Rift Orb and float around the arena before summoning more Echoes, during which time she cannot be damaged.
For these reasons, the most effective way to beat Echo Zelda is to focus on dealing Ranged damage to her. The best methods to deal ranged damage are to keep your Hearts at maximum while in Swordfighter Form or level up your Bow of Mightat Lueberry’s house to its max level.
Though you can use flying Echoes to deal damage to her as she floats above the arena, most flying Echoes can’t keep up with her movement, and it’s more effective to come prepared with lots of Energy Restoration potions and smoothies to take her out in Swordfighter Form.
If your HP is maxed out, using your Sword will fire a beam of energy at your target, which deals huge melee damage from a range. If you can avoid being hit by the Echo Zelda boss’ summons, or have plenty of Smoothies to restore Hearts, this is the best way to deal with Echo Zelda.
It’s perfectly valid to take her on with the Bow of Might, though, especially at its max power level. Don’t Charge your arrows, just fire them off at her rapidly when she hovers still for a moment. About 10 Arrows is enough to bring her down, while about 5 or 6 Sword Swings should bring her down with full Hearts.
Once you deal enough damage, Echo Zelda will float to the ground and can be attacked normally. Summon your strongest Echo, enable Swordfighter Form, and swing at her until she enrages.

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – The Zora Child’s Fate Quest Guide
To complete The Zora Child’s Fate quest in Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda must summon three different fish for the child’s mum nearby.
Each time you deal enough damage to cause the next phase, she will summon stronger and stronger Echoes.
In most cases, you must deal with the summoned Echoes before you can deal damage to Zelda. This isn’t because she’s immune while floating around, it’s because it’s nearly impossible to Lock On to her if there are four other enemies close by. Whenever she summons these adds, be sure to clear them first before going for the bosswith your upgraded Swordfighter Form.
Once you repeat this process enough times and finally down the boss, our heroine will finally be able to break Link out of his crystalline prison, completing the “Rescuing The Hero Link” quest and opening the way to the final dungeon and final boss of Echoes of Wisdom.
Echo Zelda Boss Rewards
After you beat the Echo Zelda boss toward the end of Echoes of Wisdom, you will get two major rewards. For one, as is standard for most bosses, you will get a full Heart Container, increasing Zelda’s Hearts count by one. Even at this point in the game, one extra Heart is a big help.
The other reward is more intangible. After you beat Echo Zelda, Echoes of Wisdom players will automatically save their game at the final available save point. You will free Link from his crystalline prison, rescuing his piece of the Prime Energy too, and will gain the option to talk to Link and continue forward.
If you choose to give Link back his weapons and continue to fight Null, you will not be able to return. Even after you beat the final boss, and after you view the credits, the last available save on your character will be here, after defeating Echo Zelda.
Use this time to go back and collect Heart Pieces, upgrade your Accessory slots, and prepare plenty of energy-refilling and Hearts-restoring smoothies.
After beating the game, if you re-load the Autosave at this point, you will gain a super helpful new feature: the ability to track your missing Echoes and other collectibles. This incentivizes players to go back and 100% the game – try it on Hero mode for a bit more of a challenge in going back to content you have out-leveled.
