Honkai: Star Rail Leak Shows Rappa’s Synergy With Raun Mei and Gallagher

A Honkai: Star Rail video leak has demonstrated the synergy between the upcoming character Rappa and other popular characters such as Ruan Mei and Gallagher. Honkai: Star Rail‘s turn-based combat system allows players to deploy up to four different characters in their team composition.

In order to increase their party’s damage potential, Trailblazers often assemble their teams so that every character has a clear role and synergy with the rest of the squad. Over the last couple of months, players have been wondering how the upcoming five-star character Rappa will fit into their current team compositions.

Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that Rappa will be a new Imaginary character scheduled to join the playable roster in the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6. The official storyline has revealed that Rappa is a girl who identifies as a ninja in Penacony, also known as the Planet of Festivities. However, unlike most ninjas, Rappa’s Way of the Ninja involves comics, rap, and graffiti. She is also a member of the Galaxy Rangers, whose goal is to chase down the Evil Ninja Osaru. A post on the Honkai: Star Rail Leaks subreddit has revealed how Rappa performs when placed in a team composition that also includes Ruan Mei and Gallagher.

Honkai: Star Rail: Is Rappa an S-tier Character?

Considering that she follows the Path of Erudition, players can expect Rappa to be a powerful multi-target DPS unit in Honkai: Star Rail. The video also confirms previous leaks claiming that Rappa’s entire kit revolves around Break damage. While many fans like the design of Honkai: Star Rail‘s five-star character, others claim that her kit is slightly underwhelming, and she’s probably not an S-tier unit. Many comments suggest they still prefer other characters from the roster who can perform a similar role.

Some comments have pointed out that the new video leak shows HoYoverse has managed to resolve some of Rappa’s issues related to Energy regeneration. Another significant issue with Rappa is that she is not as effective against Honkai: Star Rail enemies that don’t have Imaginary Weakness. Swapping Rappa in this team with Firefly would yield a similar result, with the main difference being that Firefly does not depend on enemies’ weaknesses.

It should be noted that Rappa’s release date is still at least three weeks away, meaning HoYoverse has plenty of time to make additional adjustments and improve how Honkai: Star Rail‘s upcoming Erudition character performs. Rappa is expected to be featured on the first limited banner of the upcoming Version 2.6, which should drop around October 22.
