Persona 3 Reload has a diverse cast of heroes with an equally wild set of weapons put on display. Admittedly, many of them are swords or blades of some sort. Swords are a staple of RPGs and they go together like peanut butter and jelly or mustard on a hot dog. Players would be wise to equip their early party with these weapons in Persona 3 Reload.
For those at the finish line, well, it’s time for a little refresher. Here are the best weapons for the playable party members at the end of the game which involves a lot of trading with the antiques store dealer in the Paulownia Mall. Players need to make sure they fill out their Persona rosters too as many of them hold rare items needed for safe trading besides a countless variety of gems like Garnets.

The final month of Persona 3 Reload gives players a lot more to do than they may realize. This time is the best to deal with some of the challenge battles that will be even more difficult than the final boss of the game. Battles of this difficulty need some of the best weapons possible, and this article has been further updated to help players find and get whichever weapon they think is right for each party member.
16 Sarnga
Attack 370/Accuracy 98/ Random Ailment (High)
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Preservation Conch, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies.
- For Yukari
The Sarnga has the second-highest damage weapon Yukari can use, with a surprisingly high accuracy for a bow, which tended to have incredibly low accuracy in the original game. While her main focus should always first be magic, having a powerful backup weapon is always useful.
The main selling point for this weapon comes from the high chance of inflicting a random ailment it has. While this is a useful bonus, Yukari will rarely, if ever, use basic attacks, and will rarely take advantage of this weapon’s special bonus. The Preservation Conch is a Heart Item obtained from Vishnu, a Persona of the Sun Arcana.
15 Balmung
Attack 395/Accuracy 92/ Agility +7 and Ignores Resistances
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Nibelung Ore, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies
- For Junpei
The Balmung is a close second in terms of Attack for Junpei. Unlike Yukari, Junpei will be using his basic attacks more often than Yukari ever will, and its lower accuracy isn’t high enough to truly hold the weapon back.
This weapon greatly boosts Junpei’s agility, which helps him up his spot in the turn order of a battle. This weapon also ignores any enemy resistance, which will be useful in one of the rare times an enemy is resistant to Junpei’s basic attack. Nibelung Ore is a Heart Item obtained from Siegfried, a Persona of the Strength Arcana. Siegfried is also needed by the player to unlock the fusion spell Scarlet Havoc, which is arguably the strongest attack in the game with the right build.
14 Pandemonium
Attack 400/ Accuracy 93/ Agility +7 and Ignores Resistances
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Sea Sould Drop and 5 Diamonds
- For Aigis
Much like the Balmung, Pandemonium gives Aigis the ability to attack an enemy through their resistance. This weapon also gives Aigis a plus 7 to her agility but has a higher base Attack than the Balmung.
This weapon is further placed ahead on the list as Aigis is a much stronger character than Junpei. This weapon also has a higher accuracy than the Balmung, but only just slightly. The Sea Soul Drop is a common Heart Item obtained from Personas like Anata, Alice, and Lilith.
13 Underworld Kunai
Attack 330/ Accuracy 96/Magic +5 and Dark Amp
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Sea Soul Drop and 5 Diamonds
- For Koromaru
The Underworld Kunai has one of the lowest Attack stats for an end-game weapon. Despite this, Koromaru doesn’t heavily focus on physical attack abilities, with his Dark magic dealing much more damage.
This weapon gives a +5 to magic and Dark Amp, making Koromaru excel when using Dark Magic. While these aren’t his only damage-dealing spells, this weapon offers a huge boost for those focusing on these skills with Koromaru. The Sea Soul Drop is a common Heart Item obtained from Personas like Gabriel, Mother Harlot, and Jatayu.
12 Sabazios
Attack 350/Accuracy 97/ Luck +7 and Freeze (High)
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Earth Goddess Ring and 5 Diamonds.
- For Akihiko
The Sabazios is one of only three weapons on this list that changes the user’s basic attack affinity, with this case being ice. While the boost to Luck is helpful, it’s not as good as other boosts on this list or available to Akihiko.
With Akihiko’s high strength, he will often use his basic attack to great effect, with the added chance of freezing the enemy only boosting his battle effectiveness. The Earth Goddess Ring is a Heart Item obtained from Cybele, a Persona of the Lovers Arcana. Cybele can only be fused after players max out the Lover’s Social Link with Yukari.
11 Snow Queen Whip
Attack 377/Accuracy 95/ Magic +5 and Ice Amp
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Shadow Lipstick and 5 Diamonds
- For Mitsuru
The Snow Queen Whip is another weapon that also changes the user’s basic attack affinity to Ice. The boost to freeze is helpful, and will only capitalize on this effect for players who have Mitsuru in their party.
Mitsuru is a powerful Magic user and this weapon only furthers that by increasing her base Magic and giving her Ice Amp to make her Ice spells even more deadly. The Shadow Lipstick is a Heart Item obtained from Skadi, a Persona of the Empress Arcana.
10 Gungnir
Attack 400/ Accuracy 99/ Magic +5 and Elec Amp
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Eyepatch Of Wisdom, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies
- For Ken
Gungnir is another elemental weapon that changes Ken’s basic affinity to electric. This weapon has a 99 Accuracy and will rarely if ever have Ken miss a basic attack.
This weapon boosts his base Magic stat and also gives him Elec Boost to further the damage of his electric spells. Ken is arguably one of the strongest party members in Reload, and even his second-best weapon in the game solidifies that. The Eyepatch Of Wisdom is a Heart Item obtained from Odin, a Persona of the Emperor Arcana.
9 Deus Xiphos
Attack 360/ Accuracy 99/ Strength +7 and Ignores Enemy Resistances
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Archangel Wing, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies
- For The Protagonist
The Deus Xiphos is another weapon with 99 Accuracy this time for the protagonist. This weapon offers a +7 to strength, which is an incredible boost for those pursuing a physical build.
Physical builds on a fused Persona in Reload can lead to the highest damage output possibly from the protagonist, and this weapon’s boost to strength will only add to those already high numbers. The Archangel Wings are a Heart Item obtained from Michael, a Persona of the Judgment Arcana.
8 Masakado’s Katana
Attack 440/Accuracy 92/All Stats +5 and Increases Critical Accuracy
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Emperor’s Sake Cup, 5 Gold Quartz, and 5 Rubies
- For Junpei
The Masakado’s Katana is a powerful weapon that further pushes Junpei’s high crit rate. His blades are often ranked with lower accuracy in exchange for attack power. While 92 isn’t terrible, it could definitely be better, although the 440 attack power is nothing to sneeze at. The best part of this sword though, besides the overall stat boost, is the critical rate increase of it.
If a character gets a critical hit, then that will leave enemies open for a combo attack and should this allow players to get a guaranteed Shuffle Time in Persona 3 Reload. Players can get the Emperor’s Sake Cup from a heart item from Masakado, a Persona of the Tower Arcana. Masakado is a Special Fusion that is only unlocked after completing nine of Elizabeth’s fusion requests, with Masakado being the tenth.
Attack 450/Accuracy 93/All Stats +5 and Reduce HP Cost
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Contract Angel Wing, 5 Gold Quartz, and 10 Diamonds
- For Aigis
The Metatronius probably sounds mechanical in name and that’s perfect because it was built for Aigis who is a combat robot. It increases stats like Junpei’s Masakado’s Katana but it has the added benefit of working well with Aigis’ unique skill loadout.
While every other member of the party has access to damage-dealing magic, Aigis only has physical abilities. They use HP instead of SP and the Metatronius helps reduce the HP cost of these skills. The Contract Angel Wing can be obtained from Metatron, a Persona of the Aeon Arcana.
6 Evil Gloves
Attack 410/Accuracy 97/Temporarily Boosts All Stats In Battle
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Mara’s Head, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies
- For Akihiko
The Evil Gloves belong to Akihiko who has one of the highest Strength stats in the group. He’s a much faster character overall which makes sense as a boxer has to be both strong and light on his feet to land and evade blows. These gloves have excellent accuracy on top of good attack power and they boost all stats temporarily at the start of battle for Akihiko.

If you want to ace the exams in Persona 3 Reload, you will need to make sure to answer the questions correctly and keep up with your studies.
Akihiko’s combat characteristic boosts the effectiveness of buffs on himself, making the benefits of this weapon scale even more than if it were used by another person. Players can get Mara’s Head from Mara, a Persona of the Tower Arcana. Mara is one of the few Personas obtained through a special fusion and will require a bit of work before players can fuse it.
5 Kokuseki Senjin
Attack 425/Accuracy 95/All Stats +5 and Powers Up Magic Attacks
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Black Pillar Shard, 5 Gold Quartz, and 5 Rubies
- For Mitsuru
The Kokuseki Senjin is an epee-like saber for Mitsuru. Mitsuru is one of the strongest magic users in Persona 3 Reload, so it makes sense why this weapon increases her magic potential in battle. It also has a good base for its attack power and accuracy, and it increases all stats on top of that.
Mitsuru is able to learn Concentrate which greatly boosts her magic damage, and this sword only makes that ability even more effective, along with any damage spells used by Mitsuru. One of the weirdest-looking Personas in the game is the Alilat of the Empress Arcana. Players need a Black Pillar Shard Heart Item from this Persona to trade for the Kokuseki Senjin. Alilat can only be fused after the player maxes out the Empress Social Link with Mitsuru.
4 Quintessence Bow
Attack 400/Accuracy 98/Powers Up Magic Attacks
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Bull Warrior Horns, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies
- For Yukari
The Quintessence Bow is the closest Yukari will get to having a viable basic attack. While it does have the lowest base damage of any weapon on this list, its boost in magic damage focuses on Yukari’s stronger aspects.
It has good stats all around and like the Kokuseki Senjin, it will increase the magic power for Yukari. This will help further boost her already very high magic, and push her to be one of the strongest magic users in the party. Players can get the Bull Warrior Horns from Chi You, a Persona of the Tower Arcana.
3 Vajra
Attack 410/Accuracy 96/All Stats +9 And Extra Evasion
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Carnage King’s Gear, 5 Gold Quartz, and 10 Diamonds
- For Koromaru
The Vajra is a weapon for Koromaru, the game’s adorable dog that cannot do anything wrong. It has solid stats, boosts all his base stats, and also increases Koromaru’s evasion rate. Koromaru already naturally has an incredibly high evasion, and this weapon only makes him the best by an even wider margin.
Koromaru has one base evasion rate throughout the game as he can’t be given shoes, and this weapon offers one of the few opportunities to boost his evasion rate at all. The Carnage King’s Gear is a Heart Item that is obtained from Asura, a Persona of the Sun Arcana.
2 Pinaka
Attack 440/Accuracy 94/+100 HP/SP
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Destroyer’s Drums, 5 Gold Quartz, and 3 Rubies
- For Ken
Even though he isn’t the main character and is also one of the last SEES members incorporated into Persona 3 Reload, Ken has one of the game’s best weapons. The Pinaka’s base stats are good, but not the best on the list in terms of damage.
The absolute best part about this weapon though is its boost to HP and SP. There aren’t even any accessories that will boost this much HP and SP together, making it a rare item overall. Ken has access to damage magic and healing magic, and having a higher SP pool to use from alone can be very beneficial for longer battles. The Destrpyer’s Drums is a Heart Item obtained from Shiva, a Persona of the Tower Arcana.
1 Lucifer’s Blade
Attack 425/Accuracy 95/All Stats +7 and Powers Up Magic Attacks
- Location: Mayoido Antiques
- Cost: Fallen Angel Wing, 10 Gold Quartz, and 10 Rubies
- For The Protagonist
Lucifer’s Blade is an ominous name for a weapon in Persona 3 Reload. It belongs to the main character and has an equally balanced range of stats. It’s yet another weapon that boosts magic this time applying the bonus to a much wider range of options.
Makoto has access to very powerful end-game Personas that will be made even stronger when utilizing this weapon and getting the additional boost in stats. Players can get the Fallen Angel Wing as a Heart Item from Lucifer, a Persona of the Judgment Arcana, and is the strongest Persona in the game.
