Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater allows you to enter first-person during certain cutscenes to see things from Snake’s point of view, but there are a few secret first-person cutscenes that don’t have an R1 or RB prompt in the corner of the screen. Some of these secret first-person scenes are even required to earn MGS Delta achievements/trophies.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is loaded with little Easter eggs like this, and they’re thankfully not that hard to find. Unlike the HD Collection and Master Collection, which featured a trophy/achievement called Snake Eyes for viewing all six secret first-person cutscenes, MGS Delta only requires you to spot one in particular for a trophy/achievement. Here’s where you can find all six secret first-person cutscenes in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

Since most of these occur in the second half of the game (three take place during the ending), there are spoilers for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater below.

There are six first-person cutscenes that do not have an R1/RB prompt in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Here’s where you can find them.

Location

When to Press R1/RB

Krasnogojore Mountaintop

Press R1/RB as The Boss rides away on her horse after saying “I’m going to get the Davy Crocket!!” You can also press R1/RB to view EVA as Ocelot walks away.

Groznyj Grad (Torture Scene)

Press R1/RB as Ocelot leaves the room.

Shagohod Boss Fight

Press R1/RB when Snake says “It’s finally over…” after defeating Volgin and the Shagohod.

The Boss Fight

Press R1/RB when the horse neighs after finishing off The Boss.

Ending (President’s Office)

Press R1/RB when the president offers a handshake to Snake. Look to your left to spot Ocelot for a trophy/achievement!

Ending (Graveyard)

Press R1/RB when Snake salutes in front of the grave.

The only one of these scenes that is required for an achievement/trophy is the one in the president’s office during the ending. When the president extends his arm for a handshake while Snake continues to salute, press R1/RB to enter first-person view and move the camera to the left to spot Ocelot outside the window. This will unlock the Ocelot Always Gets His Man trophy/achievement, bringing you one step closer to 100% completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
