EA Sports has officially revealed the final list of the Top 10 highest-rated goaltenders in NHL 26, featuring a selection of superstar goalies. With just a few weeks remaining until the launch of the newest entry in the annual ice hockey franchise, EA Sports has been rolling out the red carpet for this year’s NHL game. NHL 26 is making some big changes to a fan-favorite game mode, with “Be A Pro” set to receive a huge overhaul alongside plenty of on-ice changes. Now, EA Sports is recognizing one of the game’s most important positions.
NHL 26 has teased a plethora of changes coming to the game as EA Sports looks to refine the “ICE-Q” system first introduced last year. “ICE-Q 2.0” is said to feature refined and detailed breakdowns of how the actual NHL players operate on the ice, using infrared cameras to track players in each NHL arena. The new upgrades will reportedly feature some particularly major improvements for goaltenders, with 81 new animations allowing goalies to more easily make those game-changing saves. A new ranking is now showing off the best of the best for NHL 26‘s goalies.
EA Sports officially revealed the list of the Top 10 goaltenders in NHL 26 on Wednesday morning, featuring an award-winning goaltender on top. Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck sits as the highest-ranking goalie in NHL 26 with a 94 overall, with the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Andrei Vasilevskiy coming in at 2nd with a 93 overall. The third and fourth-place positions are held by a pair of New York-area goaltenders, with the Rangers’ Igor Shesterkin in 3rd and the Islanders’ Ilya Sorokin in 4th. Defending Stanley Cup champion Sergei Bobrovsky rounds out NHL 26‘s Top 5 goalies.

NHL 26 is currently scheduled to launch on September 12.
NHL 26 looks to be bringing plenty to the table to entice fans back into the yearly franchise. The previously-mentioned overhaul of the Be A Pro game mode is said to feature an entirely new storyline, ranging from a variety of new cutscenes to more immersive draft day and award ceremony experiences.
