Mushrooms are a great source of stamina in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and you’ll have to collect every single type of mushroom to complete your Food Collection. Thankfully, there are only a few mushroom varieties in Metal Gear Solid Delta, but some of them can only be found in very specific locations.

There aren’t any mushrooms as rare as the Tsuchinoko or other rare MGS Delta animals, but you can easily miss one or two types early in the game without realizing. If you know where to look, though, collecting every single mushroom type in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater should be a breeze. Here’s where you can find all seven mushroom species in MGS Delta.

There are seven types of mushrooms in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and their locations are listed below:

Mushroom

Tastes terrible.

Ural Luminescent

Tastes terrible. Poisonous.

Siberian Inkcap

Tastes terrible.

Fly Agaric

Graniny Gorki. Grows near trees.

Not very good. Poisonous.

Russian Glowcap

Chyornya Peschera Cave. Glows in the dark.

Not very good. Recharges battery.

Spatsa

Graniny Gorki Lab 1F, Svyatogornyj South, and Sokrovenno West. Grows at the base of trees.

Tastes terrible. Induces sleep.

Baikal Scaly Tooth

Tastes terrible.

To collect a mushroom, you can shoot it with a gun or kick it with the basic CQC combo. Most of these mushrooms can be found throughout the entire game, but there are a few that only appear in very specific zones. Make sure you pick them up before moving on; otherwise, you’ll have to reload a save or start a new playthrough to add them to your Food Collection.

As long as you make sure to collect the Ural Luminescent mushroom from Svyatogornyj, you shouldn’t have any other problems completing your mushroom collection in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Make sure to call Para-Medic after you eat each of them for some humorous codec calls that teach you more about their effects.
