Kai Cenat has confirmed that he will be the next content creator to receive a Fortnite skin as part of the game’s Icon Series, celebrating streamers and celebrities alike. The massively popular battle royale from Epic Games has welcomed a wide variety of different skins into the game, expanding from its own characters into a variety of crossovers. Fortnite has featured everything from TV shows and movies to popular musicians like Mariah Carey and Eminem as in-game skins for players to acquire. Now, one of the internet’s most popular streamers will be making his Fortnite debut.

Fortnite‘s “Icon Series” skins serve as an homage to popular celebrities and some of the game’s most well-known streamers. The Icon Series has featured the addition of multiple popular musicians as in-game skins, with Travis Scott and Major Lazer serving as some of the earliest musicians added to the game. The skin line has also been the home to skins for several of Fortnite‘s most beloved content creators, with streamers like Ninja, TheGrefg, and Lachlan receiving their own in-game cosmetics. Kai Cenat has now confirmed he will be the next online star to join Fortnite‘s Icon Series.

As reported by Dexerto, Kai Cenat officially dropped the news about his upcoming Fortnite appearance on his Twitter account. The streamer revealed that he would be hosting a stream on August 18 to reveal the details about his upcoming appearance in Fortnite as a part of the “Icon Series” line of skins. Kai Cenat’s announcement about the Fortnite skin appears to have even caught Epic Games off -guard, jokingly responding “LEAKED” while simultaneously seemingly confirming the skin’s existence. Kai Cenat did not reveal any information about a release date for his Fortnite skin in the post.

Kai Cenat Reveals New Icon Series Fortnite Skin

The introduction of a Kai Cenat skin to Fortnite comes as the streamer has consistently maintained his status as one of Twitch’s most popular talents. Kai Cenat regularly sits within the top 5 most-subscribed channels on Twitch, currently boasting the third-highest follower count on the platform. Kai Cenat’s overwhelming success on Twitch has seen the streamer expand his brand beyond video gaming, even hosting a livestream from the 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony.

Fortnite‘s newest content creator skin comes as the game has plenty more exciting crossovers rumored to be on the way soon. Recent leaks have suggested that this year’s “Fortnitemares” Halloween event may include brand-new Scooby-Doo Fortnite skins, including multiple variants of Shaggy. Rumors have also hinted at new skins based on Friday the 13th coming as part of the event, with Jason Voorhees teased as a major Halloween skin for this year. Kai Cenat’s debut as a Fortnite skin should be a major event for the beloved streamer’s legions of passionate fans.
